Meet Jacyn DeBaun, Executive Director, Breast Cancer Detection Center of Alaska, and Meadow Riedel, APR, External Affairs Manager, @Kinross Alaska

Both women get open and transparent about the type of cancer they were diagnosed with, the options for their cancer, and various treatments. The conversation is woven with education, on what to look for, various symptoms, and when to consider talking with a primary care doctor.

Jacyn and Meadow share portions of what a community looked like and meant for each of them in the process and through their journey of cancer. How life on the other side of cancer is different, as they move in survivorship, and make necessary life adjustments for their health.

Jacyn shares how BCDC was founded by women and for women, and how that community support continues today from individuals to corporate business partnerships.

The interview ends with each woman sharing a golden nugget of advice for anyone who is facing any kind of major illness or cancer.
